Task analysis is refereed as to be the operations analysis, is a systemic collection of data as pertaining to the specific job or group of jobs as to show case what a employee should be taught and the various resources they need as to achieve and attain the active optimal performance.
The Task Analysis in the backward planning model illustrates the training or learning needs as by supplying the information as projected below. And it also shows why it is even necessary for managers as well as learners in the final backwards planning step, that is an Individual Needs. Learners there are importantly motivated by what their managers see as important and by what they see as important. The Task Analysis sequences tell about the various measurable behaviors while carrying out a task or duty. It also gives a detailed analysis of every task with reference to frequency, difficulty and importance. There analysis begins with by observing and interviewing the best performer. Following steps should be kept in mind while as during the task Analysis phase.         
  • Situations: Tools or other peripherals along with environment used in carrying out a task.
  • Performance Metrics: How well must it be formed? Note that this sub-step is discussed in more detail in the next step, Build Performance Measures.
  • Repetition: How many times a task is done?
  • Difficulty: Rate on a scale from one to five.
  • Relevance: The importance of specific task in relation to others.
  • Steps: Rational steps to carry out a task.
